The Cultured Puggle is a lifestyle blog aimed to support those with mental illness through humor and understanding.
One of the biggest aspects of my life currently is my mental illness. I hope to reach fellow survivors and current sufferers to create a strong support group so we can all get through the days together.
Once you’ve arrived here, a good place to start would be on my home page! I have a more in-depth explanation of what I’ll be blogging about.
Now for a little bit about me:
I have been in the military for three years now and married for two to my lovely husband, David. I’ve moved six times in the past three years, and it’s been a lovely experience being able to meet people all over and see incredible things I never dreamed I would get to lay my eyes on.
My lovely Puggle, Hank, is without a doubt one of the sweetest beings in my life. He is a little sporadic bundle, of joy. Well, truth be told chaotic would be more accurate but I wouldn’t have it any other way! He never fails to make me, or any stranger on the street smile from ear to ear.
But unfortunately I have PTSD (and depression and anxiety),which prevents me from experiencing just as much as I would like to. I have an amazing support system and I would like to share it with everyone else. If you feel like you need someone to talk to, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
